This inaugural Cask Strength Rye launch blends two incredibly unique barrels rather than the more familiar Rum-barrel finish, offering an innovative flavor profile with delightfully creamy notes. TASTING NOTES This first-ever release at 114.4-proof (57.2% ABV) features creamy notes of pears, cream, and rye spice on the palate, which lead into a finish of cream soda, black tea, and a floral sweetness. NOSE Creme brûlée with a hint of orange zest. Ripe honeycrisp apple and buckwheat. PALATE Honeyed pears, with rye spices, nutmeg, and well-integrated oak. Sweet cream and caramelized sugar FINISH Fruity cream soda and floral blanc vermouth. Sweet spices slowly fade into pleasant notes of black tea and leather.
