Casa Ermelinda has almost a century of experience in grape cultivation. SandStone Shiraz was grown in the sandy soil vineyard of Fernando Pó, where hot days are tempered by cool nights, thanks to coastal breezes and the moderating influence of the Tagus and Sado rivers. After four months in French and American oak barrels, this garnet-colored wine displays a wealth of aromas, such as ripe dark fruits in syrup, as well as the emblematic spices of Syrah, such as black pepper, white pepper and cloves. SandStone is a great wine: complex, velvety, structured and persistent.
