Franziskaner is a brewer founded in 1363 in Munich, Germany. It is characterized mainly by the traditional production of wheat beer —Weißbier, in German— and is part of the Spaten-Franziskaner-Brau GmbH group. Franziskaner exists as a registered brand and is made in Löwenbräu in Munich
