Paani puri, also known as golgappa or puchka in different regions of India, is a popular street food snack. It consists of a round, hollow puri (a type of deep-fried bread) that is crispy and light. The puris are filled with a mixture of flavored water (pani), tamarind chutney, chickpeas and spices.
