Gentleman Jack was introduced to the market in 1988 due to the changes visible in the spirits market since the 1980s. It is an edition with a more delicate taste than the basic Jack Daniels no. 7, which was done by double filtration through charcoal mellowing. In addition to filtration taking place before aging in American white oak barrels (as in the case of basic JD), Gentleman Jack is also subjected to this process after aging in barrels. Nose: Noticeable caramel, charred oak and some anise. Taste: Notes of oak, cinnamon and banana. Finish: Delicious and tasty finish. Lots of spices and citrus fruits.
