Woodford Reserve is an excellent American bourbon produced using traditional methods based on age-old recipes. Distillation takes place in copper alembics, which is unheard of in the case of bourbon production, and the aging time in oak barrels is over 7 years. The taste has sweet caramel aromas interspersed with peppery sharpness. Woodford is produced in small quantities - each bottle of this unique liquor bears its own number and signature of the master distiller Chris Morris himself. Nose: Floral, rich grains, strong woods, intense spices, sweet fruits. Taste: Soft, round, delicate, complex notes of mint, tobacco, leather, fruit, toffee, spices. Finish: Long lasting, smooth, soft, slightly spicy.
