Famous Grouse
210,00 PLN
Its creator was Matthew Gloag, who named his whiskey in honor of the most popular Scottish wild bird, i.e. the red partridge "Red Grouse". In 1905, the brand becomes "Famous" - Matthews whiskey became so popular that it began to be called "The Famous Grouse". It is made by blending malt distillates from distilleries such as Macallan and Highland Park with mild grain whiskeys. The whole matures in first-filled American bourbon casks. Smell: Bright, distinct. Cut flowers, barley accent and toffee sweetness. Taste: Light and well-balanced. Spices, a hint of malt, caramel, a delicate touch of smoke. Finish: Not too long. Sweet, with a hint of caramel.
